Market Enginuity announces the addition of 90.7 WMFE and 89.5 WMFV to its roster of clients as the company assumes the responsibility for sponsorship sales for the Florida stations.
Market Enginuity will maximize WMFE’s and WMFV’s connection to a growing audience in Central Florida to offer strong, meaningful solutions for corporate supporters. WMFE and WMFV are the primary providers of NPR® programming to the region and produce a robust roster of original programs, podcasts and events dedicated to the area’s news, arts and culture. Specialized coverage and recent in-depth reporting include space exploration, health, climate change, PTSD, Sunshine Laws, Puerto Rico recovery and a local version of the NPR Tiny Desk Contest. While WMFE has operated since 1980, it launched the sister station WMFV in March 2018, extending coverage northwest of Orlando into The Villages, Leesburg and The Golden Triangle.
Market Enginuity President Jim Taszarek said, “We are proud to represent this top-notch journalism service for Central Florida. We’re excited to build on the momentum of its growing community engagement and ensure that the sponsorship marketplace realizes the multiplatform reach and marketing value both stations provide. We also look forward to introducing WMFE and WMFV into the fold of national sponsorship campaigns.”
With the new partnership, WMFE and WMFV will benefit from the 20 years of corporate sponsorship expertise Market Enginuity has in public media. As an industry leader, Market Enginuity currently represents 16 public media stations across the country and podcast publisher PRX.
Under the direction of Market Enginuity Vice President, Regional Sales Manager Donna Fuhrman, and a director of sales, the sponsorship team will continue to work from WMFE offices.
